Zimmerman's Cafe Chamber Music

  • St. Andrew's Episcopal Church 100 North Palmway Lake Worth, FL, 33460 United States (map)

The program will include works by five South Florida composers – on the program are Morgan Denney’s White-Knuckling for solo cello; Frederic Glesser’s Piano Trio No. 2 for violin, cello, and piano; Olivia Kieffer’s Nobility of the Homophones for toy piano duet; Clare Shore’s Intensities of Degrees for flute (piccolo/alto fl.) and piano; and Marshall Turkin’s Sonata for alto saxophone and piano.

Stay tuned for the listing of performers for the event; in addition to South Florida's finest professional musicians we will be hosting guest artists from Sacramento, CA, and Asheville, NC.

If you haven't attended any previous Zimmermann's Café Chamber Music events, this quote pretty much sums up what we are all about:

Imagine being dressed in casual clothes—even shorts, attending a musical event with cabaret-style seating and "serve yourself" food, wine, and coffee while listening to "fresh off the press" musical works, chatting with South Florida composers and performers between pieces ... open your eyes ... you are at a Zimmermann’s Café Chamber Music event!

Get ready to enjoy fabulous food, fun, fellowship, and wonderful music, all for just $20 (payable by cash or check at the door); students of any age are admitted FREE with ID. Feel free to forward this email to friends and fellow music-lovers of any age who you think might be interested in joining us.
